2024 - 2025 VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. ALL STUDENT - ATHLETES MUST REGISTER & UPLOAD THEIR DIAA PHYSICAL VIA OUR NEW ONLINE PLATFORM - CLICK ON LINK BELOW:
2. Helpful Parent Link: Snap Manage HELP PAGE for parents
In order to tryout you MUST REGISTER your athlete AND upload a current/completed 2024 - 2025 DIAA Physical form using the Snap Manage Link above! All Fall Athletes should have their physicals uploaded by August 1, 2024 to be properly cleared for tryouts on Monday, August 13, 2024. All Football players must register and upload physicals before first day of tryouts.
3. Helpful troubleshooting tips and tricks for registering via SNAP Manage:
A. You will need to know your student - athlete's SCHOOL ID # when registering.
B. MEDICAL ALERTS: BE SURE TO PUT ANYTHING A COACH MAY NEED TO KNOW IN THIS AREA WHEN REGISTERING!
C. If you DO NOT get a confirmation email, you did not complete the registration. Try going back into your account and selecting a sport!
D. To register for a 2nd or 3rd sport, go back into your account and click on begin registatration, then click 2nd sport, click through prompts, and finish by clicking SAVE. Repeat for 3rd sport.
AFTER YOU REGISTER, PLEASE LOG BACK INTO YOUR ACCOUNT 1-3 DAYS LATER TO CONFIRM YOUR DIAA PHYSICAL HAS BEEN CHECKED AND ACCEPTED! IF YOUR PHYSICAL DOES NOT SAY "APPROVED" THAT MEANS IT IS INCOMPLETE.
4. Actual parent testimonials and ways parents have successfully uploaded DIAA Physicals:
A. "I created a PDF on my iPhone and then sent it to my email. I then used my laptop to upload the PDF file. I found the iPhone more difficult to upload than the laptop."
B. "I just scanned the document with a scanner at my work and saved it as a PDF in my desktop computer. I hit browse and uploaded it from my file, but it took a few tries. Each time I uploaded and saved it, I would log out and log back in to make sure it was there & it wouldn't be there. After about 5 or 6 tries, it finally registered that I had uploaded it."
C. "I scanned using "NOTES" on my iPhone and then saved to "save files" and I was able to upload from there (see picture below)."
Thank you for your patience as we ALL learn this new system together!

DIAA Message - DE PLAYBOOK 4 SUBSTANCE ABUSE
The Lieutenant Governor, Bethany Hall-Long has teamed up with NFL Hall of Famer and former McKean High School standout Randy White to bring a national program to Delaware called “Friday Night Lights”.
The purpose of the program is to bring awareness and to provide guidance to the problem of substance abuse. Far too many of us know someone struggling with substance use disorder. It’s an epidemic that has impacted Delawareans in every community. In 2022 alone, 537 Delawareans lost their lives to a drug overdose. Many of them were directly attributed to opioids. These were mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors.
Even more startling is the increase in prescription drug misuse among students. About 1 in 3 high school seniors in the United States have reported misusing a prescription drug and according to the National Institutes of Health, high school athletes have a lifetime opioid use rate of over 28 percent.
The good news is that we are fighting back to bench opioids and save lives. Through the Coaches vs. Overdoses Initiative, we are working to educate student athletes and parents about the dangers of opioids and promote prevention and treatment resources available in Delaware.
Attached you will find the “Delaware Playbook”, the playbook is intended to provide parents with a number or resources available to them to provide guidance in dealing with this problem.
DE PLAYBOOK - RESOURCES & INFORMATION ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE 4 PARENTS
I am asking for your assistance in delivering this “Delaware Playbook” to as many people as possible. Although the “Delaware Playbook” is intended for parents, we are asking that you distribute this document to Athletic Directors, Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Teachers, School Administrators and Staff. As many hands that we can place this document in will increase the opportunity to help someone and increase awareness to these issues.
Thank you in advance for your support in this effort.
David L. Baylor
Executive Director, DIAA
